It's our anniversary

I have come to learn that, in blogland, anniversaries tend to celebrate how long someone has had their blog. Today's anniversary isn't to commemorate that event, instead it's that Tim and I have been married for two years. They have been busy and fabulous.

I know Tim was concerned about getting engaged back in May 2005 because he knew that that event would be the first of a series of big occasions in his life. He was right: Engaged in May, married that September, bought a house February 2006, our wee Lucy July 2007. We have been making careful choices and goals and slowly creating what I would say is a pretty terrific life.

Thank you, Tim. You have made my life just wonderful. I'm looking forward to everything that is still yet to come.
